DELIVERY TERMS

Online Shop delivery terms and conditions are valid from 01.11.2015. Products in online shop are sold By Design Stories Oy, Business ID: 2710531-2. Prices include VAT. We reserve right to change the terms of delivery.
Our delivery times for products in stock is 5-10 days. With unique products and special orders the delivery terms will be agreed separately with the customer when placing an order. Also, corporate sales delivery terms will be agreed separately for each order.
We attend to keep up to date with our online shop. If the product, the customer ordered, is exceptionally come to an end, we will notify as soon as possible. We reserve the right for adjustments and changes in the prices and changes generally in the online store. We also reserve the right to change the delivery methods during the campaigns. Our Online Store is not responsible for the shipping delays caused by the carriers. Other possible delays in the delivers will be informed in online store’s website.

SIHIPPING TERMS

We supply products all over the world, delivery by Posti and other courier services. Delivery Time and fee Vary for country to country.
To get your order delivered quick and easy, can you to choose following different delivery options:

The smallest products for example cards and gift cards, will be delivered directly to the given delivery address by mail.

Collect the parcels from your local postal outlet
Collect parcels you ordered from the nearest the postal outlet. You will receive a text message notification when your parcel arrives and it is ready to be collected. If value of the order is over 100€, delivery is free.

Postal Parcel
You can choose a postal outlet for the recipient’s convenience. You will receive a text message notification when your parcel arrives at the postal outlet of your choice and the parcel is ready to be collected. If value of the order is over 100€, delivery is free.

Posti Parcel point
Collect the parcel from your choice of Posti parcel point. You will receive a text message notification when your parcel arrives at the parcel point of your choice. If value of the order is over 100€, delivery is free.

The Parcel to the Doorstep
The Parcel to the Doorstep is delivered to the recipient’s doorstep. Posti will contact the recipient within one or two weekdays of the mailing of the item and agrees on the delivery time and delivery time frame. Please notify, the doorstep delivery only applies to the Finnish mainland addresses, with road network connection to the mainland.

Collect the parcel from Susanna Sivonen –workshop
Explicitly agreed, you can collect the order from the designer’s workshop. Please write down your wish to collect the parcel from the workshop in the Order Comments –text field when confirming the order. Design Susanna Sivonen –workshop is located in the centre of Oulu, at Torikatu 15, 5 floor.

PAYMENT METHODS

Credit Cards
We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard. Compulsory information when ordering are the name of the credit card holder, credit card number, expiration date, and the three-digit security code from the back of the card.

Visa Debit Cards and Visa Electon
We accept payment Visa Electron and Debit Cards. Compulsory information when ordering are the card holder’s name, card number, expiration date, and the three-digit security code from the back of the card.

Onlinebank payment
The order is possible to pay using your online banking. You will have access to all bank payment buttons. Checkout –payment service conveys your payment to the merchant. Checkout is a payment service maintained by the Checkout Finland Oy (business ID 2196606-6).

All information related to a payment transaction, is protected both online as well as anywhere else. For us, conveys no information regarding payment eg. Credit card numbers, account information, etc. All information collected regarding the delivery of your order, will be stored with due care also outside of the webstore.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

To avoid unnecessary exchanges and refunds, please read carefully the product information while visiting our online store. You can also always contact us if you have any questions while ordering. If you choose to return any of the products ordered from our online store, you have right for the 14-day return and exchange policy of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. You should, however, always notify us in advance of the return, either by e-mail to info@susannasivonen.com or by telephone +358 442 740 402.
The returned product must be in its original packaging, unused and saleable. Susanna Sivonen Design bears the shipping costs for the return. If you have not pre-announced the return of, you will be charged for the costs of the return. The exchange and return policy does not apply any custom made products eg. Interior fabrics, which have been cut according to your order.

Return and exchange policy applies also to defective products and wrong delivery. You have the right to make a statement of wrong delivery or a defective product within 14 days of receipt of the product. We will replace the defective product, if possible, with a new flawless product, replace it with another product or refund the purchase price if desired. If the shipment is damaged in the mail or during transport, it is important that you do reclamation immediately to the mail office when collecting parcel or home delivery is received.

The web shop has following practice regarding the returns: Products collected from the designer’s workshop will be returned to the same address. The products delivered by mail will be returned via Post. Please pack your products carefully to ensure they are not damaged during transport. Please deliver the products to the nearest post office and declare return. Use the most economical way of sending exchanges and returns. Fill in carefully the form that came with the order and please send it with the return. Please retain the receipt you received for your return. Once we have received your returned product, will we return your money to your account? Refund will be paid in your account / credit card within a few business days.

Return form must contain the following:

Name and address of the customer
Information about the returned product
IBAN account number of the customer

Unclaimed parcels
According to the law, you will need to notify the seller of the return prior retuning the product. Not collecting the order is not considered as being a return and therefore does not fall within the 14-day return and exchange law according to Consumer Protection Act. It is important you to tell if you forgot to collect your order. It can be provided a re-arrangement on the parcels unclaimed and returned to us. In this case, the customer must pay the new postage charges. We will have to charge the order for the return shipping, a total of € 4.90, for the parcels unclaimed and returned to us.

Exchange
If you want to change your order to another product, you will need to make a new order. Return the product to be exchanged as instructed above in RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY. We charge the customer for the new postage charges. Refund will be paid in your account / credit card within a few business days.

Cancelling the order
After paying your order you can no longer make changes to it. If you want to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible by e-mail info@susannasivonen.com or by telephone +358 442 740 402.
